Java PRO MAX – Web Development (2 Months)

2 Months (16 Classes) – 2 Classes per Week (Saturday & Sunday)

Course Overview:
This track focuses on using Java for full-stack web development. Students will learn JSP/Servlets,
Spring Boot, MySQL and REST APIs to build real-world web apps. By the end, they will be able to
design and deploy professional Java-based websites and enterprise systems.

Detailed Curriculum: Module 1: Java Web Basics
  • Introduction to Servlets & JSP
  • MVC pattern in web apps
  • Building dynamic web pages
Module 2: Databases with MySQL
  • JDBC connection
  • CRUD operations with MySQL
  • Integrating Java with relational databases
Module 3: Spring Boot Essentials
  • Introduction to Spring Boot
  • Dependency injection & configuration
  • REST APIs with Spring Boot
Module 4: Frontend Integration
  • Combining Java backend with JS/jQuery frontend
  • AJAX calls
  • Simple single-page applications
Module 5: Deployment & Hosting
  • Hosting Java apps on Tomcat/Heroku
  • Connecting to cloud databases
Mini Projects:
  • CRUD Student Portal (JSP + MySQL)
  • REST API for GB tourism data (Spring Boot)
Final Project: Build and deploy a Web Application for GB Startup (E-commerce, booking system, or service app). Outcomes & Career Opportunities:
